Kamal Ghaleb and Minh Hieu Ly of Mississauga are celebrating after winning a MERRY MILLIONS prize worth $50,000 in the December 12, 2023 Early Bird draw.
Kamal says he plays the lottery once in a blue moon and Minh says he’s been playing weekly for over 30 years. This is their first big win.
“I was checking the ticket to find out if we won, and I quickly called Minh right away,” said Kamal. “I was beyond excited! It’s good to get a big win after all these years.”
“This is just the beginning. I am so lucky. Never once did I think I would be a big winner,” Minh smiled.
Kamal plans to pay some bills and travel with his portion of the win. Minh will share his win with his son.
