If you’ve never heard about the Kilby Block Party music fest you might want to book a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah this spring.
Celebrating its fifth year, Kilby Block Party kicks off on Friday, May 10 with the likes of Peach Pit, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Canadian band Alvvays, Courtney Barnett, Joanna Newsom, Jai Paul, and headliners Vampire Weekend.

Saturday’s lineup is even more stacked as Dinosaur Jr., Belle and Sebastian, Death Cab for Cutie, Wu-Tang Clan, and The Postal Service grace the stage.
Closing out the fest on Sunday, May 12 are Guided By Voices, Dayglow, 100 gecs, Interpol and LCD Soundsystem.

A general admission 3-day pass to the fest is $239 USD, plus a $35.71 USD service fee. If you want to upgrade your experience, a VIP 3-day pass is available for $349 USD, plus a $40.64 USD service fee. The VIP pass offers premium viewing areas, exclusive photo ops, access to indoor and outdoor lounges, a separate entrance, and VIP bars, washrooms, and merch booths.
Single day general admission tickets are $89 USD, plus a $28.99 USD service fee. Single day VIP tickets, which are sold out for Saturday but available for Friday and Saturday, are $129 USD, plus a $30.78 USD service fee.
Tickets can be purchased online at 24tix.com. They also offer a payment plan for 3-day passes.
Gates for the fest open at 11:30 a.m. daily with the last band ending at around 10 p.m. each night. Kilby Block Party is an all-ages event.
You can download the official app for the festival on Apple or Google Play. The app allows you to create your own schedule, get updates, and see food options. If you want a taste of the bands, there’s also a Spotify playlist available to stream.
