The lineup for the 2024 Mariposa Folk Festival was announced last week, and alt rockers Band of Horses are on the bill along with Canadian rapper Maestro Fresh Wes.
Running from July 5 – 7 in Orillia, Ontario, other performers include the likes of Bahamas, Dwayne Gretzky, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Noah Cyrus (Miley’s sister). Bruce Cockburn will also be doing a special performance, and Tom Power from the CBC radio show Q is listed as a special guest.

The three-day festival, which started in 1961, features 11 stages with live music along with presentations of story, dance, and craft.
“We’re thrilled that families and groups of friends have chosen our event as their essential annual gathering. For 64 years, Mariposa has evolved while staying true to our roots for generations to come,” said Mariposa Folk Foundation President, Pam Carter.
