Prime Video announced Monday that popular YouTuber MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, is launching a game show on the streaming service.
Under the title Beast Games, the show promises to be the biggest reality competition series ever with 1000 contestants competing for a $5 million cash prize (Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge currently holds the record with its $4.56 million cash prize).
“When MrBeast first told us about his concept for the show, we were blown away by his ambition to make Beast Games the biggest reality competition series ever,” Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios, said in a release.
