Indie rock bands The National and The War on Drugs are hitting the road together for the Zen Diagram Tour, and they’ve announced three Canadian stops.
Kicking off in Gilford, New Hampshire on September 12, the tour makes its first stop in Canada seven days later when they play Place Bell in Laval, Quebec on September 19. They then have a show at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on September 20 before heading back to the U.S. for more dates.

On October 2 they play Rogers Arena in Vancouver before wrapping up the tour in Mexico City on October 10.
They will also be joined by indie pop band Lucius on all dates except for Mexico City.

The National released two new albums in 2023. First Two Pages of Frankenstein arrived in April and had the singles ‘Tropic Morning News’, ‘New Order T-Shirt’, and ‘The Alcott’, which Taylor Swift performed on.
They followed that up in September with the album Laugh Track. Along with the title track, which featured Phoebe Bridgers, the album had the singles ‘Alphabet City’ and ‘Deep End (Paul’s in Pieces)’.
The latest album from The War on Drugs was I Don’t Live Here Anymore in 2021. The title track, which was released as a single, features the band Lucius.
Tickets to the Zen Diagram Tour can be purchased now via a presale on Ticketmaster. They go on sale to the public on Friday, March 1.
