Canadians now have another way to earn shopping rewards as RBC has announced they are opening their Avion Rewards Select and Avion Rewards ShopPlus programs to all Canadians.
To join the Avion Rewards program in the past you had to bank with RBC. Now any Canadian is eligible to join whether they do or not.
What is the Avion Rewards program?
Avion Rewards is an all-in-one rewards program that offers you points and cash back. With Avion Rewards ShopPlus you also get deals at over 2,400 online retailers presented to you.
RBC customers do get more benefits from Avion Rewards still with two extra tiers: Avion Rewards Premium and Avion Rewards Elite.
To join the Avion Rewards Premium program you must have one of the many eligible accounts or credit cards RBC offers. For the Avion Rewards Elite program you need one of the following specific credit cards:
- RBC Avion Visa Platinum
- RBC Avion Visa Infinite
- RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege
- RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege for Private Banking
- RBC Avion Visa Business
- RBC Avion Visa Infinite Business
If you’re not already an RBC banking customer you might be eligible to get a free iPad if you switch your banking over to them before September 13, 2023.
