During the Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday, the game company announced six upcoming Mario-related games are being released for the Nintendo Switch.
These are on top of the already-announced brand new Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, which will be released for the Switch on October 20.
The new titles announced at the September 14 Nintendo Direct include Princess Peach: Showtime!, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Super Mario RPG and WarioWare: Move It!.
Release dates announced at Nintendo Direct
Princess Peach: Showtime! currently has a March 22, 2024 release date, while Mario vs. Donkey Kong is coming Feb. 16, 2024. Super Mario RPG and WarioWare: Move It! both arrive this November, on the 3 and 17, respectively.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door currently have no official release dates other than they’re coming in 2024.
Nintendo also announced that the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass Wave 6 DLC will be available this holiday season. It adds the Daisy Circuit course from Mario Kart Wii, as well as the characters Diddy Kong from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii and Pauline and Peachette from the Mario Kart Tour game.
