Google announced the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro this week, which was not much of a surprise to anyone who follows Android news.
Upgrades to Google’s flagship phone have been coming soon after Apple’s September iPhone release for the last few years, and these newest Pixel phones were expected as always.
Both models come loaded with a faster chip along with better cameras and screens. They also both have a higher price tag than previous models (the Pixel 8 starts at $949 and the Pixel 8 Pro starts at $1,349).

Deals on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
To compensate for this price bump, Google is including a pair of Pixel Buds Pro (a $259.99 value) with the Pixel 8 or offering $260 off the Pixel Watch 2 (which starts at $479.99) when you order the phone from the Google Canada store.
If you order the Pixel 8 Pro from the Google Canada store, you’ll get to chose between the Pixel Watch 2 (Wi-Fi) or Pixel Buds Pro.
