Darkman is getting a special limited edition 4K Blu-ray Steelbook release from Shout Factory next year.
Directed by Sam Raimi and starring Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand, the 1990 film, about a scientist who seeks revenge after he’s badly burned in an explosion caused by gangsters, is considered a cult classic and one Raimi’s best.
Along with the 4K UHD copy, the 2-disc Steelbook set comes with a regular Blu-ray copy of the film, a retro sticker, a collectible pin and many other great extras.
The limited edition ‘Darkman’ 4K Blu-ray Steelbook release from Shout Factory includes:
- Limited edition 18” x 24” rolled poster of the Steelbook artwork
- A 2.5” x 3.5” retro prism sticker from Gutter Garbs, featuring artwork by Matthew Skiff, designed to replicate vintage vending machine horror prism stickers from the late 80s and early 90s (this will ship in a stay-flat folded cardboard sleeve) and limited to 1,000 units
- A collectible Darkman hard enamel pin from Gutter Garbs, approximately 2” in height on a backer card (limited to 500 units)
- A set of five retro lobby cards from Gutter Garbs, each measuring 10” x 8” and printed on ultra-heavy card stock with a matte finish and shipped in a heavy-duty stay-flat mailer (designed by Beyond Horror Design; limited to 500 units)
Shout Factory’s Darkman limited edition 4K Blu-ray Steelbook will be released in Canada and the US on February 20, 2024. You can pre-order it exclusively now on ShoutFactory.com for $132.00 USD.
