If you’ve ever wanted to eat a fresh, healthy meal at home without having to do any cooking then you need to try the new ready-to-heat meal delivery service Factor.
Factor is owned by HelloFresh and delivers chef-prepared, dietitian-approved healthy meals right to your door. The only work you need to do is heat and eat.
“This is convenience without compromise,” Conal Gould, General Manager at Factor Canada, said in a press release. “Canadians are busier than ever, and the time and energy it can take to plan and prepare healthy meals is often one of the first things to go.”
Don’t confuse ready-to-heat with meals you buy in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. While the Factor packaging looks similar to TV dinners, they are all freshly made by real chefs and use high-quality ingredients, like proteins raised without antibiotics.
Factor offers vegan, vegetarian and Keto-friendly options and adds new meals to its menu weekly. The meals also don’t have any refined sugars or oils, and customers can get a complementary 20-minute call with a Factor dietitian.
How Factor works
Similar to meal kit delivery services like its parent company HelloFresh, Factor customers can select the number of meals they want delivered per week between six, eight, 10, 12, 14 or 18 meals.
Six meals costs $89.94 ($14.99 per), eight meals is $111.92 ($13.99 per), 10 meals is $134.90 ($13.49 per), 12 meals is $155.88 ($12.99 per), 14 meals is $174.86 ($12.49 per) and 18 meals is $215.82 ($11.99 per). There is also a $9.99 shipping fee added to eat selection.
New customers can save $75 and get free shipping on their first four boxes.
Some of the upcoming meals available to Factor customers include Parmesan Pesto Chicken, Stuffed Pepper Medley, Almond Crusted Salmon and Green Peppercorn Pork Tenderloin. Factor also offers its own brand of cold-pressed juices that can be added to any order.
Factor is currently available in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. It will be expanding to Western Canada in 2024. For more information on Factor and to sign-up, visit factormeals.ca.
