LG announced the world’s first wireless and transparent 4K OLED TV at CES on Monday, and it looks like it’s from the future.
The LG Signature OLED T is nearly invisible when powered off, blending into the decor of the room to make any space feel more open. Because it requires no electrical outlet nearby, you can also place the OLED T anywhere you want (LG even suggests using it as a room divider).
The 77″ OLED T comes in stand-alone, against-the-wall, or wall-mount options, and with its modular design it can be customized to suit your needs by adding standing or floating shelves around it.

Besides movies and TV shows, you can use the OLED T to display artwork, videos or photos. There is also a feature called the T-Bar, which runs an info-ticker along the bottom of the screen with news alerts, weather updates or titles of songs being played.
The included Zero Connect Box, which we’ve written about before, transmits 4K images and sound with no cables between it and the television. It can be placed up to 32 feet away to help keep everything looking neat and organized.
There is currently no release date or info on pricing for the OLED T, but we expect this to be in the $10,000+ range once it’s available.
webOS upgrade coming for older LG TVs
LG also announced the webOS Re:New program during CES 2024 last week, which will allow owners of older LG TVs to upgrade to the latest webOS smart TV platform.
The webOS Re:New program will be available in “early 2024” for the following models:
- LG’s 2022 OLED TV lineup
- LG OLED Flex
- LG OLED Objet Collection Posé
- LG’s 2022 QNED Mini LED 8K (QNED99/95 series)
The webOS update includes a new highly customizable home screen, advanced security technology, and an optimized operating system. The company says more models will be getting the update at a later date.
CES 2024 runs until January 12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
