What you should do
Health Canada says consumers who have these batteries should immediately stop using them and safely dispose of them “in such a way that they cannot be used again.” Batteries are considered hazardous waste and you should not place them in your regular garbage.
In December 2023 Health Canada recalled two portable power stations for similar fire and burn risks.
