Named the “world’s largest barbecue store”, the 50,000 square foot Turn Up the Heat BBQ superstore in Vaughan, Ontario has closed and all assets are being liquidated at a public auction.
The auction will be run online by Danbury Global Ltd. & A.D. Hennick & Associates Inc. between April 4 and April 11 and will offer deals on BBQs, pizza ovens, patio furniture, and anything else to make your outdoor space more exciting this summer.
“Everything will be sold the highest bidders and the bidding for brand new in box BBQs start as low as $50,” Jon Ordon, CEO of Danbury Global, said in a release.

There is over $1.5 million worth of inventory to be sold, including products from top BBQ brands like Broil King, Primo, Kamado Joe, Broilmaster, Tuscan Chef, and Weber.
Forklifts and warehouse equipment will also be listed for auction.
“Each BBQ and pizza oven will be its own separate lot, so you can bid individually, or on multiple items. It’s a great opportunity to add to your outdoor living space right before BBQ season,” added Alex Hennick, President of A.D. Hennick & Associates.
Turn Up the Heat took over a former BBQ World at Langstaff and Highway 400 in 2020. The forced closure is due to a combination of “declining sales and increased overheads” among other factors.
