Canadian fans of LCD Soundsystem were left disappointed last week when the band announced a mini tour this spring that includes stops in Mexico and the U.S., but nothing in Canada.
The tour kicks off with two shows in Guadalajara, Mexico on March 21 and 22. They then hit Mexico City on March 24 before heading back to the U.S., where they’ll play the previously announced Kilby Block Party music fest in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 12.
They then do a stop in Bend, Oregon on May 14 before four shows in Seattle on May 16, 17, 18 and 19. Following Seattle they do a one-off show in Minneapolis on May 22 and then finish the tour with another four back-to-back shows in Chicago on May 24, 25, 26 and 27.
If you’re considering a road trip south for any of these shows, tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, February 2 at 10 a.m. EST. There’s an artist presale on January 30 if you can get signed up in time.
After their mini North American tour, the band heads to Europe over the summer where they will play a total of six shows in Ireland, France, Netherlands, Portugal and England.
The last time the band played in Canada was on December 3, 2017 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
