As we countdown the days to the 2024 Super Bowl and prepare to watch the big game at home this weekend, Apple is getting us ready for Usher’s halftime show performance by releasing a ton of exclusive content on Apple Music throughout the week.
Apple Music subscribers can listen to Usher’s full discography in spatial audio, access special playlists created by Usher and NFL players like Travis Kelce, Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams, Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, and Damar Hamlin, and hear a live interview with Usher by Apple Music Radio’s Nadeska Alexis at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show press conference on February 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
“Music has always been the best way to set a mood, explain an emotion, or define different moments in time,” Usher told Apple Music.
The Story of Usher in 20 Songs is an editorial feature that will allow listeners to take a deep dive into the 30-year career of the R&B prodigy and understand what got him to this point in his career and to performing at the Super Bowl. It will be available on Apple Music later this week.
“Usher is one of the greatest performers alive, and his music has touched so many of us around the world,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We couldn’t be more excited to have him on board for the second Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show and offer fans so many fun ways to celebrate this iconic moment in his career.”
Apple Music users can also pre-add Usher’s highly anticipated ninth studio album Coming Home, which will be released on February 9.
