Zac Efron’s portrayal of wrestler Kevin Von Erich in The Iron Claw is being turned into an action figure that looks like it’s straight out of the ‘80s.
The A24 movie about the real-life Von Erich brothers and their rise to stardom in the wrestling world in the early 1980s has received rave reviews, with many critics mentioning Efron’s performance as being a highlight.

“It’s Efron, his outrageously muscled body made beatific with a Joan of Arc bowl cut, who softens the film’s harder knocks with a performance of disarming tenderness,” critic Clarisse Loughrey wrote for the Independent.

“A truly memorable performance by Zac Efron makes this one of the movies of the year,” David Griffiths said in his Subculture Media review.
Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson star alongside Efron as Von Erich brothers Kerry and David, respectively.
The action figure stands 6.5-inches tall and shows off Efron’s bowl cut and muscles from the movie. It has 23 points of articulation, allowing you to position it however you want, and also comes with a removable blue and gold jacket.
The Zac Efron-Kevin Von Erich action figure is expected to ship in August. You can pre-order it now on the A24 website for $48 USD (A24 All Access members can get it for $43.20 USD).
A24 have more fun items for sale based on some of their other films. You can get Everything Everywhere All At Once hot dog finger gloves, a Hereditary gingerbread treehouse kit and a Marcel the Shell heavy metal figurine.
The Iron Claw is now available to watch on VOD platforms in Canada and to buy on Blu-ray.
