Finance worker Alaudin Mohamed is $100,000 richer because of a lottery ticket he bought by chance.
“I decided to pick up an Instant Gold Pursuit ticket while at the store because it caught my eye. I played the ticket at home and brought it back to the store to check it and when I saw $100,000 on the screen, I was shocked!”
The Instant Gold Pursuit scratch ticket was purchased at the Ultramar Gas Station on Highway 7 in Manilla, Ontario.

Mohamed, who normally plays Lottario, collected his prize from the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto on February 26. He said he wants to find a way to give back to the community, but also surprise his family.
“I will make some decisions on how to spend this win once I tell my family – I want to surprise them,” he smiled.
Instant Gold Pursuit scratch tickets were released in January and are available to purchase at authorized OLG retailers for $25. The ticket is a hybrid scratch ticket and classic lottery draw with 50 winning tickets worth $100,000 across Ontario. The odds of winning any prize on the ticket are 1 in 3.19.
