Canadian indie darlings Stars are hitting the road for a 15 date tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their hit album Set Yourself on Fire.
The tour kicks off in Asbury, New Jersey on September 18. Their first Canadian stop is in their hometown of Montreal on September 28 where they will be playing at the POP Montreal 2024 music festival.

They play Ottawa on October 2 and Toronto on October 3 before heading back to the U.S. They return to Canada to play North Vancouver on October 23. The tour wraps in Denver, Colorado on October 26.

Tickets to the North Vancouver show are currently on sale for $39.50, plus fees. Tickets for the second Brooklyn show go on sale March 8 at 10 a.m. and tickets to the Toronto show are on sale as of March 6 at 10 a.m.
There’s no pricing info listed for any of the shows except for North Vancouver and no info on when tickets to the shows not mentioned go on sale. Keep an eye on the band’s website for further details.
Along with the tour, the band also announced a Set Yourself on Fire: Deluxe 20th Anniversary Edition vinyl release. The album comes on 140g opaque red vinyl in a special die cut jacket with printed inner sleeve, 12×24″ pinup poster, and a temporary tattoo featuring the iconic flame design. It’s expected to be released in August or September and is available for pre-order now on thecbpshop.com.
Set Yourself on Fire was certified Gold in Canada and was nominated for a 2005 Best Alternative Album Juno. The album includes some of the bands biggest tracks, including ‘Your Ex-Lover is Dead’, ‘Reunion’, ‘Ageless Beauty’, and the title track.
