If you want to watch the 2024 Oscars this weekend to see who takes home one of the coveted awards, you’ll be able to a few different ways in Canada.
The 2024 Oscars will be available to watch live in Canada on CTV or CTV2 beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 10. If you have cable or satellite service you’ll also be able to stream them via CTV.ca or the CTV app.
In the U.S. the Oscars are streaming on Hulu Live TV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV and FuboTV. If you have VPN access, like NordVPN, you can sign-up for a free trial on one of these services in order to stream them in Canada.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 96th Oscars are sure to have some fun and exciting moments, especially Canadian actor Ryan Gosling’s performance of the nominated song ‘I’m Just Ken’ from Barbie.
As for who or what is going to win an award, that is anyone’s guess at this point.

Best Picture could go to a number of films, including Oppenheimer, Poor Things, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon or Barbie.
Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone could both end up losing Best Actress to Sandra Hüller for Anatomy of a Fall, and Paul Giamatti and Cillian Murphy could both lose Best Actor to Jeffrey Wright for American Fiction.
Best Director has been a battle between Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan, but it could also go to Justine Triet for Anatomy of a Fall.
And The Zone of Interest could be the surprise film that sweeps all five categories it’s nominated in, including Best Picture and Best Director.
