Taco Bell has introduced a Cantina Chicken menu in Canada that includes a new soft taco, crispy taco, burrito, and quesadilla.
The Cantina Chicken menu is filled with fresh ingredients and is cooked in Mexican spices, including garlic, onions, and a range of chilies. Shredded purple cabbage, white corn tortilla shells that are freshly fried daily, pico de gallo, and creamy avocado ranch sauce are all premium ingredients that can be added to orders.
“This Cantina Chicken menu has been a labour of love and we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure we landed on the best slow roasted chicken recipe and selected the finest supporting ingredients to maximize [crave-ability],” Liz Matthews, Global Chief Food Innovation Officer, said in a release.

“As we constantly listen to our audiences, we know that a winning equation is giving them what we know they want plus something next-level. We knew our fans wanted more chicken, and we also knew that we could elevate chicken with unexpected ingredients.”
The crispy taco is filled with Cantina Chicken, creamy jalapeño sauce, a three-cheese blend and then covered in cheese on the outside. The Cantina Chicken quesadilla is filled with a three-cheese blend, creamy chipotle sauce, and wrapped in a warm flour tortilla which is then crisped up with cheese on the outside and served with guacamole and reduced-fat sour cream for dipping.
Avocado ranch sauce, crisp iceberg lettuce, shredded purple cabbage, cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo are all wrapped into the soft taco, and the burrito features a double portion of Cantina Chicken (compared to the soft taco), iceberg lettuce, shredded purple cabbage, both avocado ranch sauce, and creamy chipotle sauce, cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo.
