Check your wallets and purses because another two lottery tickets sold in Ontario are about to expire.
The first is a Lotto 6/49 ticket worth $85,379 from the Wednesday, March 29, 2023 draw that was sold in Toronto. The winning numbers for the draw were 09, 10, 12, 17, 30 & 45 Bonus 44.
A $100,000 Encore prize from the Saturday, April 1, 2023 Lotto 6/49 draw is also about to expire. That ticket was sold in Kingsville with a winning number of 1164893.
Last week we reported on another winning ticket sold in Barrie, Ont. that’s about to expire. That one is worth $23,635 and is from the Saturday, March 25, 2023 draw.
Lottery winners only have a year to claim a prize before a ticket expires.
If you believe you bought a winning ticket, or lost it, the OLG says to be prepared to provide specific details, including where and when your ticket was purchased. You can call OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098 to start the process.
The OLG recommends lottery players do the following to ensure you don’t miss out on a potential prize.
- Sign your ticket right after it’s purchased.
- Keep the ticket in a safe and memorable location.
- Check the ticket as soon as the draw is complete.
- Purchase on OLG.ca instead and receive an email notification if your ticket has won a prize.
