A Christmas decoration sold at London Drugs has been recalled by Health Canada over a fire hazard risk.
The product goes under the name FG Square Santa Sleigh and is described as an “animated reindeer, sleigh, and Santa Claus décor piece” with the UPC code 00840303500193.

The decoration lights up and plays music while the reindeer move up and down. It can be powered by AA batteries or an AC plug-in adapter.
The issue with the product is that it can overheat, which poses the fire hazard risk. Health Canada says the company has received two reports of the product overheating and “smoking” in Canada as of December 12, 2023.
There have been no reports of injury or property damage.
Health Canada says consumers should stop using the product immediately and return it to London Drugs for a full refund.
