If you purchased a USB charger adapter off the website Temu last year you might want to go check if it’s been recalled by Heath Canada due to an electric shock hazard.

The charger has three USB ports and came in either black, blue or red. It has the barcode 5600210341 and the identification number RA-75048.
There were 3,349 units of the affected products sold in Canada between May and December 2023.
What you should do
Health Canada says that consumers should immediately stop using the USB charger adapter and dispose of it “in accordance with municipal electronic waste requirements.”
You can contact Temu for a refund by visiting the company “Support Centre” website at temu.com.
As of February 5, 2024 there have been no reports of injury in Canada caused by the product.
Earlier this year Health Canada recalled an IKEA 40W USB charger over thermal burn and electric shock hazards.
